Blackbear Fine Art Print / Canvas
Paddles dipping in and out of the sea at low-tide makes for sharp eyes squinting towards the shoreline. Look long enough and you just might see a black bear scouring the rocks for a snack. And then the black bear moseys over to the kayak you're sitting snugly inside, exchanging a look of acknowledgement before continuing to flip over rocks in search of tasty treats that crawl beneath. And all you can do is sit quietly, taking in the sound of paws against barnacles, the sound of shell between jaws. Photographed on the unceded traditional territory (Ha-Hoothlee) of the Tla-o-qui-aht Nation. Printed on Epson Legacy Platine paper.
