SAM ROSE PHILLIPS

CONSERVATION STORYTELLER

A story well-told has the power to stir hearts and bring people together.

I apply the arts of photography, filmmaking, and poetry towards a remembrance of interconnectivity. Equal parts soft & fierce, I show up with as much compassion as I do with strength. This balance is the foundation of how I interact with the world and the stories I tell.

I’m often seen focusing my lens on wildlife and conservation stories amid the coastal communities of what’s currently known as British Columbia. Witnessing the earth’s cycles of thriving and distress has brought me into a deeper understanding of humanity, and the stories, myths, and archetypes that ground us and guide us.

To move towards loving action, it’s time we bridge the division between us. We are here to learn love and respect for all that shares breath with us. Can we learn to value our differences in time to heal this land and ourselves?

We are longing for stories that leave us with a vision, a sense of possibility, and an understanding of how we can contribute to a more loving world. I’m dedicated to integrating truth and hope into the same conversations.

I can help your story have a lasting impression.
